Dr. Shinn and Body Jet on Fox 21

Dr. Shinn was interviewed by the ever-funny Craig Coffey on Fox 21. He sat in on a Body Jet surgery.

Breakthrough medical technology called the “Body-Jet” is allowing Liposuction patients an easier and much less painful procedure to contour their body.
“Body-Jet” uses a thin, fan shaped water jet that is channeled into the fat tissue. Blood vessels and nerves are not damaged. It essentially flushes the fat instead of destroying it.

Dr. Shinn was recently interviewed for an article in the Chieftain.

It explains her reasons for choosing to practice aesthetic surgery:
“It offers a chance to help people in a different way. I am fascinated by all of this new technology. There are new procedures and technologies every day. In this field, I send my patients away with a smile. I’m used to seeing them in pain after surgery. This is a very nice change.”
